A photographic essay of a colony of Chestnut-headed bee-eaters.
The Chestnut-headed Bee-eaters first appear in the nesting location in late December and have already formed pairs. For most of January the birds will drill some exploratory holes but seem to spent a lot of time chasing insects from high perches.
