She goes in the 'horsey' position and he has a lustful look just prior to coupling. I was so excited my card ran out of memory soon after.
A composite image of a bee-eater landing on a perch. The large fan-like tail enables them to change direction quickly. Various Bee-eater species are believed to sight bees over 60 meters away.
Pairs of Bee-eaters will perch together and perform most of their duties as a team.
Bees are thought to constitute over half of the Bee-eaters diets. When hunting for their own consumption small insects are more often the prey.
